We currently use PayPal to manage all hosting payments on WeChalet and your payments will be sent to your PayPal account 24 hours after your guest's check-in.

It is free to open a Paypal account by clicking on this link.

You can also watch this video explaining how to open a free account.

To enter your PayPal email to receive payments from travelers who book with you, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your WeChalet account.

  2. At the top right of the screen, click on your profile picture and you will see a drop-down menu appear.

  3. In this menu, click on Payout Preferences.

  4. Insert your PayPal email in the section located above the Save button.

  5. Click on Save.

From now on, you will receive all guest's payments directly in your PayPal account 24 hours after they check-in.

If you are asking for a security deposit, please note that the deposit will be collected at the payment stage by WeChalet and it will be automatically returned to the guest 7 days after the departure.

PayPal is currently the only payment option we use to automate all payments on our platform, however, as WeChalet evolves, other payment options will become available.
