WeChalet is a 100% Canadian platform where it is completely free to become a host and list your properties. You can therefore offer your listings to all kinds of travelers, without any constraint since there is no registration or membership fee.

WeChalet is currently integrated with Paypal's automated secure payment system, which means you never have to deal with cash directly.

Travelers are fully billed before submitting a reservation request and you will be automatically paid via Paypal 24 hours after arrival, less a 3% service charge (plus applicable taxes).

To give you a better idea of this charge, let's say you set your price at $100 per night for an overnight stay, that means you will have around $97 in your pocket for that night and that you would be paid 24 hours after your guests have arrived via Paypal.

In comparison, note that Airbnb charges a service fee to hosts of 3 to 5%, Homeaway / VRBO of 5%, and Booking.com of 15-20%. WeChalet is therefore one of the most affordable platforms on the market.

It is completely free to open a Paypal account and we will provide you with all the information to help you open one.

As WeChalet evolves, we will definitely be offering more payment options for hosts.

WeChalet’s mission is to accelerate the call for the protection of the Earth that we all share and we also plant a tree for every reservation made on our platform.
