What is instant booking and how to activate it on WeChalet?

Under the "Booking Settings" menu, you will find the Instant booking option allowing guests to reserve your property instantly.

Instant Book listings allow a traveler to automatically book a property without sending an approval request to the host.

Guests can use filters to search for properties that can be booked instantly. Instant Book listings are more popular with guests which in turn is beneficial for the hosts as it allows them to maximize their reservations.

When you activate Instant Book for your listing, it becomes valid for all available dates in your calendar. From this point on, booking requests will be accepted automatically for travelers that meet your pre-determined requirements.

How to activate instant booking?

  1. Log in to your WeChalet account.

  2. Go on Host Mode then under the Management - Listing menu, click on Edit at the bottom of the photo of your listing.

  3. Go to the Booking settings, and in the Reservation Preferences section, click Instant booking.

  4. Once completed, click on Save.

How to control who can make an instant booking?

In order to control which users can book your property instantly, you can set your qualification criteria. Anyone who does not meet your criteria will be required to send you a booking request.

To select your criteria for Instant Bookings:

  1. Log in to your WeChalet account.

  2. Go on Host Mode then under the Management - Listing menu, click on Edit at the bottom of the photo of your listing.

  3. Go to Booking Settings and scroll down to Guest qualifications for Instant booking.

  4. Select the criteria that travelers must meet to book your property instantly:

How to deactivate instant booking?

  1. Log in to your WeChalet account.

  2. Go on Host Mode then under the Management - Listing menu, click on Edit at the bottom of the photo of your listing.

  3. Go to the Booking settings section.

  4. Check Private reservation request only under the Reservation preferences section.

  5. Click on Save.
