๐Ÿ”ง Finalizing and Publishing Your Lodgify Listings on WeChalet

1. Log in and Access Your Listings

a. Log in to your WeChalet account
b. Click on Host Mode, then open the Management menu
c. Locate your draft listings and click Edit

2. Complete Your Listing Information

Go through each tab at the top of the page and fill in the required fields:

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Location

Since the address is not public, you must enter it to accurately position your property on the WeChalet map.
๐Ÿ“Œ If your address doesn't appear on Google, see this article:
โ€‹How to fix a missing or incorrect address on WeChalet?

๐Ÿก Space

Clearly define the type of space you're listing (cottage, house, apartment, etc.)
๐Ÿ“– For more info:
โ€‹Types of properties and spaces accepted on WeChalet

๐Ÿงบ Amenities & Activities

Some fields are imported, but itโ€™s important to verify and check all available amenities: towels, linens, toilet paper, etc. This helps reduce guest questions at booking time.

For activities, select those available within approximately a 45-minute drive โ€” this is an important search filter for travelers.

๐Ÿ“ธ Photos

Photos imported from Lodgify may contain captions in only one language. We recommend translating each caption (e.g., Salon lumineux avec foyer / Bright living room with fireplace).

Make sure to add a caption to each photo, and include your property name to boost search visibility. For example:
โ€‹Cozy living room with fireplace and lake view โ€“ Chalet des 3 Poissons, Mont Ste-Douceur, Quebec

๐Ÿ“ Description

For properties in Quebec: Add your CITQ number if offering short-term rentals.
๐Ÿ“– See: How to add your CITQ number on WeChalet?

Your description is imported in only one language. We recommend using DeepL to create your translation.

๐Ÿ›Ž๏ธ Booking Settings

In this tab, you can configure:

  • Booking type
โ€‹(Since you're connected via API, instant booking is enabled by default. However, you may also receive booking requests.)
โ€‹Refer to the Lodgify integration notes for more details.

  • House rules

  • Check-in / Check-out times

  • Minimum night stays
โ€‹(This setting is synced from Lodgify, so no need to adjust it here. Youโ€™ll see your minimum stay rules under the Calendar tab in the Special stay rules section.)

  • Calendar availability
โ€‹(Set this to โ€œFully openโ€, as Lodgify controls your calendar availability.)

  • Cancellation policy
โ€‹(Choose the policy that works best for you.)

๐Ÿ’ฐ Pricing

  • Base rate
Enter your base rate, even though Lodgify transfers daily prices. We recommend entering your highest base price to avoid undercharging in case of a sync issue. This will help prevent cancellations due to low pricing errors.

Also add:

  • Cleaning fee
โ€‹Enter the amount charged for cleaning after each stay.

  • Security deposit
โ€‹WeChalet manages the security deposit for you.
๐Ÿ‘‰ See this article for more info: Security Deposit on WeChalet

  • Extra guest fee
โ€‹Add a fee for each guest beyond your base occupancy.

  • Special service fees
โ€‹These will soon be imported, but for now, they must be entered manually.

  • Weekly or monthly discounts
โ€‹This feature is not compatible with Lodgify.
โ€‹Youโ€™ll need to manually calculate and enter your discount as a percentage.
๐Ÿ‘‰ See this article: Discounts and Custom Pricing

๐Ÿ“… Calendar

You can:

  • View your availability, pricing, and minimum stay rules.

โš ๏ธ If you change a price or availability directly in the WeChalet calendar, it will only apply on WeChalet and will not sync with Lodgify.

โœ… Webhooks are in place so that any pricing changes made in Lodgify are automatically reflected on WeChalet within seconds.

๐Ÿ“‘ Guest Material

This tab is not necessary for you, as your communication and guest documents are managed directly through Lodgify.

๐Ÿงพ Status & Taxes

In this menu, you can:

  • Publish, pause, or deactivate your listing

  • Enter your tax numbers

๐Ÿ’ก If you donโ€™t provide your tax numbers, WeChalet will collect and remit the taxes on your behalf. The lodging tax is also automatically handled.

โš ๏ธ Note:
โ€‹Taxes for certain countries and regions are not yet available on the platform.

๐Ÿ’ก A price markup tool will soon be available. It will allow you to automatically increase your prices by a percentage to display tax-inclusive pricing.

โœ… Listing Validation

Our host onboarding team will contact you to:

  • Validate your listing

  • Ensure your settings are optimized

  • Answer any questions you may have
