Generally, hosts cannot charge fees outside of our platform without explicit permission from WeChalet.

In general, hosts should not collect additional fees outside of our platform unless expressly authorized by us.

This rule has an exception for hotels and software-connected hosts, who may charge and collect certain fees through a separate payment method, provided that those fees are detailed in the listing and included in the price breakdown before the reservation. These costs may include:

1. Stay costs

These fees can include costs related to amenities such as a swimming pool, gym or wifi.

2. Deposit

A refundable deposit may be required to cover possible damages occurring during the stay.

3. Cleaning fees

This is a one-time fee to cover cleaning costs.

4. Incidental costs

These charges may be for services such as valet parking, parking, or an airport shuttle.

Typically, hosts list these fees in their listings and collect these fees before the stay, upon arrival, or within 48 hours of departure.
