Although the duration of a long-term rental may vary from one region to another, hosts are free to set a term for which they plan to lease their property.
Generally, accommodation of less than one month is considered as "short-term" accommodation, while accommodation of one month or more is considered as "long-term" accommodation.

To this end, we encourage guests to seek further information from local authorities regarding the duration of long-term or short-term accommodation.

If you are already renting your property for a long period of time, you may also consider doing so in the short term. This depends on the rental laws in effect in the area where your property is located. We therefore recommend that you specify the details in the description when setting up your listing.
