PayPal is an online payment service that allows you to pay for purchases, receive payments, or send and receive money. To benefit from this service, a person must create a free PayPal account and then provide various bank details to PayPal.
Currently WeChalet is integrated into PayPal’s automated secure payment system, which means that you can make all your payments electronically on our site without providing any of your personal banking information. To make a booking payment with PayPal, please follow these 3 steps:
First, on the property's listing page, add your booking options (dates, number of guests, pets), then click on "Book Now.”
- You will then be redirected to step 1 to check your mobile phone number via SMS. Follow the instructions to complete this step.
- The second step will present you with a summary of your booking information. Please check in the right-hand dial that all the booking information of the property is correct. If not, modify them if necessary. In the message box, leave a short message for the host to greet them and briefly explain why you want to rent their property. Then click on "Continue.”
- The third step is payment. Click on "Reservation and Payment Request.” A small window will appear. At this level you can choose to pay for your booking by PayPal or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, etc.). Choose PayPal as the payment method, enter your PayPal information if necessary and validate the payment. A banner appears to inform you that your payment request has been sent to the host.
If the property is in "Instant Book" mode, the reservation will be instantly completed.
If the property is in "Booking Request" mode, when your booking request is sent, the host has 24 hours to respond positively or not to your request. You will be notified, by email and text, with a message indicating the status of your booking.
When the booking is confirmed, we will send your payment to the host 24 hours after your arrival date. Otherwise, when the host refuses your request or when your request expires after 24 hours without a response from the host, you will be refunded in full, instantly.
